It is exactly like swiping on dating apps.

At first, you get excited by their portfolio photos.

Nice, swipe right swipe right.

I mean who doesn’t like beautiful things, be it your home or your partner.

The thing is - all of them will ask you for a 1st meeting F2F, which rightfully you should go for, to share your requirements and gauge if the fellow is trustworthy.

This means that if you swipe 10x, you need to meet 10 of them.

Can you imagine repeating the same shit 10x, to 10 different people?

It is overwhelming af.

That’s not all btw.

They will arrange a 2nd meeting 2 weeks later to go through their proposal and layout, which again rightfully you should go for.

But what happens here is one of the following:

• You don’t like the ID, but don’t know how to reject them

• You don’t like the ID, but they keep spamming you

• You wait for the ID, but the ID ghosts you

• You wait for the ID, but the ID’s proposal sucks and doesn’t even include what you are looking for

• You meet them 2nd time, and they are worth the wait

All of the outcomes, bar the last one, is an absolute waste of your time and energy.

From our interactions with homeowners, I dare say more than 50% of them feel this.

That’s why pace yourself, 3 good IDs is good enough.
