A Painting Tip Your Must Tell Your ID

Okay homeowners, here’s a reno hack you’ll thank me for later.

During reno, painters will buy large paint containers to paint your place.

Once completed, they will dispose of them.

The thing is - 99.99% chance there will be (a lot) leftover paint in the container.

Tell your ID/contractor: “Don’t throw away the paint. Leave the leftover in my storeroom.”

Watch our tiktok if you lazy to read.

Why Keep the Paint?

It makes your life so much easier.

After you move in, it’s ridiculously easy to stain or mark your walls - a scuff from furniture, a splash from cooking, or just daily wear.

You can call your ID back once to touch up, maybe twice, but (a) getting the painter back for one tiny patch can be awkward (b) they will likely tell you some faraway timing.

If you keep the leftover paint, just buy a paintbrush, and do it yourself - it is so much faster.

Furthermore, you already paid for the paint.

1L of paint normally costs around $30.

What for waste money to buy paint next time, when you already have it?

If you don’t tell them, the painter will just take the container and zao.

This is really a very simple but important tip that we want to share with you guys this week!

It really really helps in your house maintenance!

TLDR

Tell your ID/contractor: “Leave the leftover paint behind. Don’t throw it away”

So that when you stain your wall, you can fix it easily.
